Since I was a little kid, maybe when I was 5, I've observed countless time "The art of going with the flow". In this case it meant just accepting fate and going with it, which I highly disagree. If fate does not go the way you want it to. I myself fell victim to this mentality and most of my teenage years this mentality defined me.
I was the man of entertainment, always cheerful and ready for some good time, which is not bad, but to me life was only that.
When I was 16 a relative of mine died which was very dear to me. There were few things that could've prevented this from happening, one was my finances and the other was my psychological skills. I was not able to provide medicine nor transport him to the hospital because he just refused, he was frightened by hospitals.
This just got me obsessed over the fact that I couldn't do anything about it. I did not want it to happen again and I got obsessed over those two factors. The first step in my development plan was productivity. After all, I have to make the most out of every minute in order to get faster results.Things that happened to me may not happen to you, but if they do, just be prepared.
Stay strong.
